Hi, names Rondale...")
Today I'm starting this blog because there are somethings I'd like to discuss with people from different parts of the world. I want us to discuss the substantive things we wonder about during our life, people are not having discussions enough about the things that matter beyond pop culture. Most of the problems in the American society today is a result of the lack of authenticity, the lack of character and the lack of communication between opposing sides; black and white; brown and white, male and female, husband and wife, father daughter, mother son, democrats, republican it doesn't matter, communication is the key to any success, so anyone who is not experiencing success should start with first correcting means of communication, no matter if it is a person or an entity.
Everyone of us experience life in a unique way, there are some things about us that we can change, and there are something we can not change. We can change our residence, but we can not change our family, we can change religion, but we can not change the color of our skin; the truth can not be changed but history has been changed altered and distorted, and we the people have to change history back to the truth, by exploring and expressing your new found truths.
In America when ever you talk to a African American man on a global scale, race always becomes a topic, so I wanted to get this out the way asap. My background is pretty diverse, I was born in Buffalo New York, in the spring of 1979; post Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X era, the freedom movement chapter for the people of color in America was transitioning into the hip hop generation. The US economy was somewhat ok, and racism where I lived, simmered down from the heavy boil and so was not a heavy influence in my early life. I grew up mostly in mixed multicultural schools and environments; with periods of predominate black populations and periods of predominate white populations. Even the church I grew up in was a world wide and multi-cultural Jahovah Witness like Christian Church. The point is racial divide didn't play a large role in my life until about high school, when I moved to the outskirts of Columbus, Ohio and went to a school in what is referred to as a "hick town"; basically that means a town with primary country white folk. Country music, Wearing confederate flags, Cat brand workboats, John Deere clothing spitting tobacco, and hunting gear are major parts of their culture. Although it was a culture shock when i first arrived at the school, and there were racial tensions at school, typically surrounding slurrs regarding white girls who had crushes on black boys at school; I got a long with even some of the boys that where called "Racist".
Sports allowed black and white students to break the ice and mingle, I'd ask the guys questions like "why they wear confederate flags knowing it upset people"? and they basically say, its a part of our heritage its our history. They reply like "why ya'll where Malcolm X hats, and clothes like FUBU? I can not recall ever being disrespected by guy like these; in all honestly it is much more disrespect of my own African America peers; the thing is we all kind of look at each other like family, so we forgive each other for the abuse. Many "black" people are not aware of the damage the do to each other by referring to each other with derogatory slurrs, that they made sound cool. A lot of what reasons why these guy despised black men, was similar to the things I despise about what is call "black" culture. Such as pants sagging, overly flamboyant personalities and self centered attitudes, loud music about crime and the crap we hear on the radio. The stat that blackmen typically out perform white men in many athletics, so often black boys in school are view as "heros" in school.
In my life so far I've learn that any man can have a discussion with any reasonable man and the two can leave the other with a impression which changes the way that person thinks and teaches forward about an entire race of people. After getting to know the point of view of the other side, I came to the conclusion that they white guy's I spoke too. I don't hate anyone people; what I hate is the institution of race, period; and what they hated was ignorance. What I hate is the stories of how our ancestors were brutalized, and the fact that we are still not 100% free to talk about the truths and realities of how those days of the past effect the generations today. The institution of race is not a enemy of the black people, or the African Americas; but is a enemy of every ethnicity on the planted. The inhabitants of the earth can not be categorized in groups like black and white; the bases of this entire system is wrong and instantly places individuals at war against each other. The solution I offer is for all of us, to one by one unsubscribe from the institution of race and the prejudices we see as a result. know one kind of people can be classified as a race; every African nation is unique, there are many different languages on the continent of Africa alone, all dark colored people are not the same; and all white people are not the same and should not be treated as such.
So, where am I headed? I'm writing this blog to communicate and establish connections with people of all kinds around the world. I want us all to be able to discuss in truth our thoughts and feelings about even the sensitive subjects that people tend to gravitate away from, on a planet where it is claimed that the people have the right to free speech, we alt to exercise that right in an intellectual way. I believe that what we believe in and what we know are two different things; what we believe in should be investigated until we know and understand what it is we believed in.
A good way of culturing each other is by sharing testimonies, photographs and discussing thought provoking subjects which helps us gain insight about who we are, the plant, and the societies we live in; both the pros and cons. I look forward to meeting new brilliant people from all places of the world and creating great experiences. We will be discussing topics on all subjects from race, to relationships, faith, religion and politics, world view and pop culture to sports, news what ever is hot. Please feel free to subscribe and participate in the discussions. Leave thoughtful commits, lets see what will come of this.
peace
R. Jordan
